His Biography | Maher Mustafa Maher Zain, commonly known as Maher Zain was born on 16 July 1981 in Tripoli, Lebanon. He is a singer, songwriter and music producer. His music has R&B, soul, islamic, and nasheed genres. He released his debut album Thank You Allah, an internationally successful album produced by Awakening Records, in 2009. He released his follow-up album Forgive Me in April 2012 under the same production company, and a third album One in 2016. Maher Zain's Lebanese family emigrated to Sweden when he was eight. He completed his schooling there, gaining a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After university, he entered the music industry in Sweden, and in 2005 linked up with the Moroccan-born Swedish producer RedOne. When RedOne moved to New York in 2006, Zain soon followed to continue his music industry career in the United States, producing for artists such as Kat Deluna. On returning home to Sweden, he became engaged once more with his Islamic faith and decided to move away from a career as a music producer to become a singer/songwriter of contemporary R&B music with a strong Muslim religious influence. In January 2009, Maher Zain began working on an album with Awakening Records His debut album, Thank You Allah, with 13 songs and two bonus tracks, was released on 1 November 2009 with percussion versions and French versions of some tracks released shortly afterwards. Zain and Awakening Records successfully used social media such as Facebook, YouTube, and iTunes to promote tracks from the album. In early 2010 his music very quickly gathered a huge online following in Arabic-speaking and Islamic countries as well as among young Muslims in western countries. By the end of 2010, he was the most Googled celebrity in Malaysia for that year. Malaysia and Indonesia have been the countries where he has had the most commercial success. The album Thank You Allah has been certified multiple platinum by Warner Music Malaysia and Sony Music Indonesia. It became the highest selling album of 2010 in Malaysia. Zain sings mainly in English but has released some of his most popular songs in other languages. The song "Insha Allah”, for example, is now available in English, French, Arabic, Turkish, Malay and Indonesian versions. He has performed concerts around the world, including in the UK, the United States, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. He has fan clubs in several countries including Malaysia, Egypt, and Morocco. He took part in the judging committee of the Awakening Talent Contest to choose Awakening Records' new star in 2013. He has many awards, one of them is in January 2010, he won Best Religious Song for 'Ya Nabi Salam Alayka', on Nogoum FM, a major Middle East mainstream music station, beating other prominent singers including Hussein Al-Jismi, Mohammed Mounir and Sami Yusuf. |

His Biography | Darwis, mostly known as Tere Liye, is an Indonesian Writer. He was born on May 21, 1979, in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra and currently lives in Jakarta. He came from an ordinary family and both of his parents were farmers. He is the sixth child of seven children. He is married to Riski Amelia and they have two children named Abdullah Pasai and Faizah Azkia. Tere Liye attended SD Negeri 2 Kikim Timur, South Sumatera. Then he continued his education at SMP Negeri 2 Kikim, South Sumatera. After that, he attended SMAN 9 Bandar Lampung. He has a bachelor’s degree from Accounting Major, University of Indonesia. After completing his studies, he worked as an accountant in a company. He made his writing debut in 2005 with the novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa”, and has published more than 50 books throughout his writing career, ranging from novels to poetry collections to books of quotations. The fiction he writes varies, ranging from fantasy, action, children stories, family stories, religious stories, love stories, to historical novels. He also writes columns on economics, politics and culture. Some of his books that have been adapted to the big screen are Hafalan Shalat Delisa, Bidadari-Bidadari Surga, Moga Bunda disayang allah, and Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu. Besides that, he received many awards, one of which was his novel, "Rindu," which won the "Islamic Book Award" in the category of best Islamic adult fiction book in 2016. |

His Biography | Mohd Syamsul Mohd Yusof is a Malaysian actor, film director, writer, producer and singer. He was born on 21 May 1984 and grew up in Kuala Lumpur. He is the son of famed director; Yusof Haslam. His brother, Syafiq Yusof is a well-known film director. His cousins, Rizal Ashreff and Sabrina Ali and half-brother, the late Faizal Yusof are also actors. Syafiq and Faizal themselves also have their other careers as film directors. He studied at the Malaysia Institute of Integrative Media (MIIM) or also known as Academy TV3 where he took a diploma in Film, TV Broadcasting and Journalism courses. From 2003 to 2007, Syamsul Yusof started to direct and acted in many TV series for RTM and TV3 such as Gerak Khas, Sembilu Kasih, Air Mata Maria and Tragedi Oktober. In 2007, he directed his first feature film, Evolusi KL Drift, co-written by him and his cousin Rizal Ashreff was initially rejected by his father for further redrafting. After the revision, his first film project was finally approved alongside a budget of RM 1.35 million. Despite his lack of directing experience and the immense pressure of keeping the reputation of his family, Evolusi KL Drift was well-received upon its release on 3 April 2008. The film's success paved the way for several other directorial endeavors. After his successful debut as a director and actor, he began directing and acting more in other films. Starting from horror films such as Khurafat : Perjanjian Syaitan; comedy films such as Aku Bukan Tomboy; and romance films such as Makrifat Cinta. Syamsul also dabbles in music. He produced an EP with Anwar Fazal. In 2016, he released a new single which was a collaboration with singer Mawi, "Kalah Dalam Menang". The song was used as the theme song for his latest film, Munafik. He continued his collaboration with Mawi for later songs, titled "Bukan Propaganda" used as a soundtrack for Desolasi. He received many awards, both as actor and director. One of them in the film Munafik, he received an award as Best Director and (Nominated) Best Actor at the 57th Asia Pacific Film Festival in 2016. |

His Biography | Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, mostly known as B.J. Habibie, was an Indonesian engineer and politician who was the third President of Indonesia. He was born in Parepare, South Sulawesi, on 25 June 1936 and he died on 11 September 2019 (aged 83). Habibie's paternal family comes from Kabila, just to the east of the town of Gorontalo in northern Sulawesi. He was the fourth of eight children. Habibie's father died when he was 14 years old. He was married to Hasri Ainun Besari, a medical doctor, from 12 May 1962 until her death on 22 May 2010. They had two sons, Ilham Akbar Habibie and Thareq Kemal Habibie. Habibie became the third president of Indonesia from 1998 to 1999. Less than three months after his inauguration as the seventh vice president in March 1998, he succeeded Suharto who resigned after 31 years in office. His presidency was seen as a landmark and transition to the Reformation era. Upon becoming president, he liberalized Indonesia's press and political party laws, and held an early democratic election three years sooner than scheduled, which resulted in the end of his presidency. His 517-day presidency and 71-day vice presidency were the shortest in the country's history. |
